Murder in a tea shop in Ho Chi Minh City, a man and a woman both died

At 9:00 p.m. on July 15, District 12 Police (Ho Chi Minh City) was still coordinating with relevant professional units to block off the scene to investigate the murder case that resulted in the death of a man and a woman.

Initial information, at around 7 pm the same day, at a tea shop on Le Van Khuong Street, Thoi An Ward (District 12), people were shocked to witness a man using a knife to stab a middle-aged woman multiple times in the chest. The victim did not have time to fight back and collapsed on the spot. Immediately after that, the man stabbed himself and also collapsed.

The incident happened so quickly that people inside the restaurant did not have time to intervene. The locals then reported it to the authorities. Upon receiving the report, District 12 Police arrived to cordon off and examine the scene, and take statements from witnesses who were inside the restaurant at the time of the murder.

Some witnesses said the couple were customers at the cafe. Before the murder, the two had a conflict and argued with each other. The cause of the incident is still being investigated by the District 12 Police.

Not long before that, at a coffee shop in downtown Ho Chi Minh City, a foreigner was also stabbed to death.

Specifically, at noon on June 4, people trading and passing by on Thai Van Lung Street, District 1 saw two foreigners arguing and struggling with another man. Afterwards, one of the two foreign men suffered chest injuries and was bleeding heavily. The victim was taken to the nearest hospital for emergency treatment but he did not survive.

At the time of the incident, witnesses shouted for help but the suspect fled. Upon receiving the report, the police arrived at the scene, investigated and arrested the suspect.
