In order to strengthen network security on the occasion of National Day, September 2, the Department of Information and Communications of Hai Duong has just sent an official dispatch to departments, branches and localities, providing 4 focal points to support in handling cyber attack incidents.

According to the Department of Information and Communications of Hai Duong, recently, a number of information systems of agencies, organizations and enterprises in Vietnam have encountered cyber attacks, causing serious damage. In order to avoid being passive and surprised by any situation, the Department of Information and Communications of Hai Duong recommends that agencies, organizations and enterprises strengthen the implementation of network information security activities, prioritize resources for direct monitoring, and ensure network information security 24/7. Assign personnel to regularly and continuously monitor centralized information security monitoring systems, centralized malware prevention and control systems to ensure early detection of interface change attack risks, and timely handling...

Review and fully update security patches for information systems, monitor and handle weekly and monthly network information security warning documents published by the Department of Information Security at the addresshttps://khonggianmang.vn/canhbaoattt/, the National Cyber ​​Security Incident Coordination Platform (IRlab.vn) and from relevant agencies and organizations.

Proactively test, evaluate, detect and fix security vulnerabilities. Hunt for threats and remove malware for all servers and workstations in the information system.

Develop emergency response plans and solutions to be ready to deploy solutions to respond to and handle cyber attacks. Back up data according to the 3-2-1 principle: have at least 3 copies of data, store copies on 2 different storage media, with 1 offline backup (using tape/USB/portable hard drive...).

Deploy solutions to be ready to quickly restore information system operations when problems occur, bringing information system operations back to normal within 24 hours or according to business requirements...
