After 3 days of dramatic and exciting competition, the 25th National Physics Olympiad for Students has come to an end, with 180 prizes awarded to groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in the competition.
In addition, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations awarded certificates of merit to 2 groups and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in the exam.
The 25th National Physics Olympiad for Students in 2023 has 42 participating delegations, with 251 students and nearly 100 teachers and lecturers who are heads and deputy heads of delegations from universities and academies nationwide, held at the University of Science (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) from November 30 to December 3, 2023. This is the third time the University of Science has hosted the event.
Students have gone through three parts of multiple choice, experimental and exercise solving which are serious, dramatic and attractive. The knowledge content of the parts mainly revolves around the general physics program taught at universities and colleges nationwide and focuses on practical applications.
During the competition, teachers and students also actively participated in two current events: International Seminar on Semiconductor Technology and Seminar on Physics Teaching. Through these two seminars, teachers and students have become more interested in Physics and have a better understanding of the current hot issues in and outside the country regarding semiconductor technology.
At this competition, students from each group actively exchanged and learned from each other about their expertise, went on field trips to Quang Ninh and Ninh Binh, and participated in many games and colorful student performances from the schools.
At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee handed over the rotating hosting flag to the University of Science, Thai Nguyen University, the organizer of the 26th National Student Physics Olympiad.
