Honda Vario 125 2024 scooter launched with 4 new color options

This price is slightly higher than the 2023 version's RM7,080 (VND40 million).

Customers in Malaysia who purchase the Honda Vario 125 will be entitled to a two-year or 20,000km warranty against manufacturing defects. Four new colour options for the Vario 125 in Malaysia are Magenta, Black, Silver and Red, replacing last year’s colours of Yellow, Blue and Red. The Vario 125 scooter is expected to be available at all authorised Implant X and Boon Siew Honda dealers from 17 August.

Certified as an Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV), the Vario 125 is powered by a 124.9 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder SOHC engine. Honda claims that the Vario 125 is capable of producing 11.5 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 11.74 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. Power is transmitted from the engine to the rear wheel via a CVT gearbox and belt drive. The wheel size on the Vario 125 is 14 inches, shod with 90/80 tires at the front and 100/80 rubber at the rear.

Although it doesn't get ABS, the Vario gets hydraulic disc brakes up front and mechanical drum brakes at the rear with Honda's combined braking system. Suspension is done with conventional telescopic forks and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear.

In addition, Vario 125 is also equipped with smartkey with anti-theft alarm, vehicle positioning alarm and stop & go. The vehicle is also equipped with an 18-liter storage compartment under the seat, a USB charging port at the front of the vehicle, an LCD dashboard with LED lights. The weight of the Honda Vario 125 2024 is 112 kg including a fuel tank containing 5.5 liters of fuel. The seat height is set at 769 mm.
