The 2024-2025 Nations League has officially determined the 6 best teams to participate in the quarter-finals, in which 3/4 of the group winners have also been revealed.

The Netherlands became the latest team to qualify for the group stage after a resounding victory in the fifth match of Group 3 League A.

The "Orange Storm" swept away direct competitors Hungary with a 4-0 victory at home at Johan Cruijff ArenA.

Wout Weghorst and Cody Gakpo did not miss the opportunity to score from the penalty spot to put the Netherlands 2-0 up in the first 45 minutes.

In the second half, Coach Ronald Koeman's team continued to play better, scoring two more goals from Denzel Dumfries and Ronald Koeman, thereby winning 4-0 overall.

This result helps the Netherlands team officially enter the quarter-finals of the Nations League 2024-2025 season one match early.

The "Orange Storm" has 8 points after 5 matches, 3 points more than Hungary but has a better head-to-head record than its opponent (1 win and 1 draw).

In the same match of Group 3 League, the German team had a sublime night of competition to win a "destructive" 7-0 victory over the weakest opponent in the group, Bosnia & Herzegovina.

Julian Nagelsmann's team overwhelmed their opponents and easily took a 3-0 lead in the first half thanks to Jamal Musiala, Tim Kleindienst and Kai Havertz.

In the second half, Florian Wirtz (double), Tim Kleindienst and Leroy Sané continued to "break the net" of goalkeeper Nikola Vasilj to bring a resounding 7-0 victory to the German team.

With this result, the German team maintained their unbeaten streak, gaining 13 points after 5 matches, thereby officially winning the top spot in Group 3 League A when advancing to the quarter-finals of this season's Nations League.

Along with Germany and the Netherlands, the quarter-finals have determined the other four participating teams, including Portugal, Italy, France and Spain.

The Portuguese team also won the top spot in Group 1 of League A after a resounding 5-1 victory over Poland thanks to the brilliance of superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

Cristiano Ronaldo continued to impress with a double, including a bicycle kick goal.

This double helped Ronaldo rise to the top of the League A Nations League's top scorer list this season with 5 goals, two more than other competing players.

As for Portugal, they also have 13 points, winning the top spot in Group 1 League with a gap of 6 points more than Croatia in the context of only one more match to end.

Spain also secured top spot in Group 4 of League A after a 2-1 win over Denmark in the penultimate match thanks to goals from Mikel Oyarzabal and Ayoze Pérez.

The group winner who will advance to the remaining quarterfinals will be determined after the qualifying match between Italy and France in the final round of Group 2 League, taking place in the early morning of November 18 (Vietnam time).

Italy is currently leading the table with 13 points, 3 points more than France, meaning the blue team only needs a draw to officially take the top spot.
