Toyota Vietnam announced sales in March reached 5,455 vehicles (including Lexus vehicles).

Specifically, nationwide sales of Toyota models reached 5,370 vehicles, including 1,972 domestically assembled vehicles and 3,398 imported vehicles, recording an increase of 39% over the same period last year. The total number of accumulated vehicles to date has reached over 982,000 vehicles, moving closer to the sales milestone of 1 million vehicles in 2025 - the 30th anniversary of Toyota's presence in Vietnam.

Of which, Hybrid car sales reached 488 cars, equivalent to 169% compared to the same period last year. This result shows the buyers' love for this fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly car line.

In March, Lexus sold 85 vehicles, bringing the total cumulative sales since the brand was introduced in Vietnam to 14,010 vehicles.

Yaris Cross took the lead with Toyota sales of 1,185 vehicles. In addition, Vios continued to be the best-selling CKD model with 1,041 vehicles, showing the stability of this sedan line. Corolla Cross and Veloz Cross had stable sales of 618 vehicles and 586 vehicles, respectively.

In April, Toyota Vietnam announced the implementation of a number of programs for customers such as: Vios, Yaris Cross are supported with 50% of registration fees, Veloz Cross and Avanza Premio are supported with 50% of registration fees, and 1 year of free body insurance.

With the sales momentum like March, it can be seen that Toyota Vietnam only needs about 4 more months to reach the sales milestone of 1 million vehicles in Vietnam.

In March, the Japanese automaker officially produced its 700,000th vehicle, becoming the first company to reach a total production output of 700,000 vehicles in Vietnam.

In 1995, Toyota Vietnam factory began construction in Vinh Phuc and started operating in 1996 with an average output of only 2 cars/day, equivalent to 212 cars/year. Up to now, the factory's output has reached over 108 cars/day, equivalent to about 27,000 cars/year.

One of Toyota Vietnam’s commitments to contributing to the development of the automobile industry is to increase the localization rate through the production of components right at the factory. Currently, the list of Toyota suppliers has reached 60, including 13 Vietnamese suppliers, bringing the total number of localized products to over 1,000 products of all kinds.
