The eldest daughter in the case of three daughters pouring gasoline to burn down her biological mother's house just died at 7:00 p.m. tonight, November 18. Her body has been returned to her hometown for burial.

On the evening of November 18, Mr. Do Trong Hoach, Chairman of the People's Committee of Trung Hoa Commune (Yen My, Hung Yen) - confirmed the information that the eldest daughter in the case of three daughters pouring gasoline to burn down her biological mother's house had just died.

Mr. Hoach said that at around 7 pm tonight, Ms. Do Thi Dinh passed away after being treated at the National Burn Institute. The body was then taken to Thien Loc village, Trung Hoa commune, Yen My district for the family to prepare for the funeral.

Previously, on November 4, the leader of Hung Yen Provincial Police confirmed that the investigation agency had initiated a murder case that occurred in Thien Loc village, Trung Hoa commune, Yen My district. The decision to prosecute was made five days after the investigation agency verified the case of three daughters burning down their biological mother's house with gasoline.

According to initial verification results, due to conflicts in property disputes and land inheritance rights, on the morning of October 30, the three daughters went to the house of their biological mother, Ms. Vu Thi D. (61 years old) to argue.

These people brought a 10-liter can of gasoline to Mrs. D's house. After arguing outside the door, the three of them and her mother continued inside the house. One person brought a can of gasoline and poured it on the living room floor and set it on fire.

The fire caused severe burns to Ms. D. and her three children: Do Thi Dinh (born in 1982), Do Thi Diem (born in 1988) and Do Thi Dua (born in 1990). All four were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment. Property damage due to the fire was estimated at about 50 million VND.
