On August 24, the Veterans Association of Tu Ky district (Hai Duong) organized the 2023 Competition for Excellent Grassroots Veterans Association Presidents. This is also the first year that Tu Ky district has organized this competition.

During one day, 23 contestants from the Veterans Associations of communes and towns in the district participated in two parts: written and oral exams.
According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, the candidates all had a firm grasp of the Party's policies towards the Veterans Association, answered questions accurately, closely related to the practice at the grassroots level, and handled situations convincingly.
The Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the Chairman of the Veterans Association of Tu Ky town, 1 second prize, 2 third prizes and 3 consolation prizes to the contestants.
