The Ninh Giang District Veterans Association has built and repaired houses for 22 members in difficult circumstances. This is the leading unit in the emulation movement "Saving for comrades' houses" in the whole Hai Duong province.
In 2024, the Ninh Giang District Veterans Association at all levels coordinated to support the construction and repair of dilapidated houses for 22 members with a total value of over 1.6 billion VND along with many working days and construction materials, exceeding the assigned target by 12 times. Of which, the Provincial Veterans Association supported 4 houses with a total amount of 100 million VND. The District Veterans Association alone supported the construction and repair of 12 houses with an amount of 380 million VND..This is a typical unit of the province in the emulation movement "Saving for comrades' house".
To achieve this result, the Veterans Association of Ninh Giang district mobilized more than 10,600 members to support a total of 337 million VND to the "Savings Fund for Comrades' House". 100% of the association's branches supported beyond the limit such as Ninh Hai, An Duc, Hong Du, Nghia An communes... In addition, members also contributed many working days and construction materials to build and repair houses for members.
This is a meaningful activity contributing to the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide by 2025". At the same time, it reduces the rate of poor and near-poor households and improves the lives of local veteran members.
In 2025, the Ninh Giang District Veterans Association will continue to review and strive to support the construction and repair of 13-15 houses for members.
