Tu Ky II High School is the first private high school in Hai Duong to meet national standards.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just decided to recognize 12 schools from kindergarten to high school as meeting national standards at level 1 and level 2. Of which, Tu Ky II High School is the first private high school to be recognized as meeting national standards (level 1).

Tu Ky II High School currently has 3 3-storey buildings, 36 classrooms. Each classroom is equipped with 3 air conditioners, 1 65-inch TV; surveillance camera system; new blackboard, desk and chair system; full lighting system, electric fans. The school library has been recognized as meeting standards, full practice lab; new multi-purpose hall put into use.

Every year, the quality of education meets the requirements. In the 2023-2024 school year, the school's high school graduation rate reached 100%; the domestic university admission rate reached 41%.

In addition, schools recognized as meeting national standards level 1 include: Hoa Tham Kindergarten (Chi Linh); Phu Thai Kindergarten (Kim Thanh); An Sinh Secondary School, Duy Tan Secondary School, Hiep Son Secondary School, Hoanh Son Secondary School (all in Kinh Mon town); An Thuong Secondary School (Hai Duong city).

Schools recognized as meeting level 2 standards include: Kim Dinh Kindergarten, Binh Dan Kindergarten (both Kim Thanh district); Hoa Tham Primary and Secondary School (Chi Linh); Pham Su Manh Secondary School (Kinh Mon).

From the beginning of the year to November 11, 2024, the Provincial People's Committee decided to recognize 88 schools as meeting national standards. Of which, only 4 schools were newly recognized: Hong Phong Kindergarten (Thanh Mien), Van To Kindergarten (Tu Ky), Dinh Son Kindergarten (Cam Giang) and Tu Ky II High School.

84 schools were re-accredited, including 28 kindergartens, 26 primary schools, 24 secondary schools, 5 high schools, and 1 primary and secondary school.

By the end of June 2024, the rate of national standard schools in Hai Duong reached 77.6%. Of which, preschool reached 68.1%, primary school 83.6%, secondary school 87.2%, high school 58.3%.

The work of building national standard schools has encountered many difficulties because many schools lack facilities, area... not meeting the regulations of Circular 13/2020/TT-BGDDT of the Ministry of Education and Training.

The Department of Education and Training of Hai Duong is striving to achieve by 2025 the rate of schools at all levels meeting national standards to reach the target set out in the Resolution of the 17th Congress of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. The resolution's goal is that by 2025, the rate of schools at all levels meeting national standards, including: 70% of preschools, 98.7% of primary schools, 95% of secondary schools, and 80% of high schools.
