Toyota North America has released a teaser image of a new model, accompanied by the caption "a new dawn is coming". The transmission is an 8-speed automatic, with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive options.

In Vietnam, Toyota Camry is being distributed with 4 versions imported from Thailand including: 2.0G, 2.0Q, 2.5Q and 2.5HV. With prices ranging from 1.105 - 1.503 billion VND/depending on the version.
In particular, the car has two options of 4-cylinder Dynamic Force engines using electronically controlled variable valve VVT-iE: 2.0L code M20A-FKS (in versions 2.0G and 2.0Q) for maximum capacity of 170 horsepower, maximum torque of 206 Nm and 2.5L engine code A25A-FKS (version 2.5Q) for maximum capacity of 207 horsepower, maximum torque of 250 Nm.
Comes with an 8-speed Direct Shift automatic transmission with the 2.5Q version; and the 2.0G and 2.0Q versions are equipped with a Direct Shift CVT transmission to help provide smooth, quiet operation and fuel economy.
