Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union cooperates to restore free photos of heroic martyrs in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign

Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union is coordinating with Team Lee to review, restore photos for free and give them back to the families of martyrs who died in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.

According to the Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union, the search and restoration of photos of martyrs in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign is facing many difficulties, mainly because over 70 years ago, economic conditions were still very difficult, most of the martyrs did not have photos before joining the army. Up to this point, the photo of squad leader, martyr Dang Van Uyen in Hong Phong commune (Ninh Giang) has been found and restored. According to records, martyr Dang Van Uyen was born in 1932 and died in April 1954 at Dien Bien Phu airport.
