The Prime Minister assigned the position of Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee to comrade Luu Van Ban.

According to the Prime Minister's decision, Comrade Luu Van Ban, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, was assigned the position of Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee from August 24 until the completion of the position of Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

Previously, on August 12, at the 24th Session, the 17th Hai Duong Provincial People's Council passed resolutions confirming the results of the dismissal of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the termination of the duties of the Provincial People's Council delegate for the 17th term, 2021-2026, for comrade Trieu The Hung due to a job transfer. Comrade Trieu The Hung has held the position of Vice Chairman of the Culture and Education Committee of the 15th National Assembly since August 1.
