Recently, the Standing Vice Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee, Luu Van Ban, requested the Hai Duong Department of Transport to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Kinh Mon Town People's Committee, and relevant units to inspect and strictly handle violations (if any) in the construction of bridge piers by Jaks Hai Duong Electricity Company Limited.

The Vice Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee also requested Jaks Hai Duong Power Company Limited to continue to suspend the transfer of ash and slag waste causing environmental pollution at Hai Duong BOT Thermal Power Plant; urgently complete the remediation, control and treatment of dust when transferring ash and slag waste.

The Department of Natural Resources and Environment shall preside over the organization of an inspection team to inspect the results of the remediation; preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Police and the People's Committee of Kinh Mon town to inspect, supervise and request Jaks Hai Duong Power Company Limited to strictly comply with the suspension of the transfer of ash and slag waste and remedy the situation of dust dispersion causing environmental pollution; instruct this company to install monitoring equipment to measure and monitor the air environment in areas at risk of pollution from the transfer of ash and slag waste at the Hai Duong BOT Thermal Power Plant.

Currently, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Transport, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hai Duong province, and Kinh Mon town People's Committee have assigned specialized officers to conduct inspection and clarification.

Previously, Hai Duong Newspaper published an article expressing opinions on the illegal construction of two wharf piers by Jaks Hai Duong Power Company Limited.
