On the morning of May 30, Thanh Mien District Farmers’ Association jointly launched the model “Field with few human footprints”. This is the first model of Thanh Mien District in this field.

The model was built in Phu Xa village, Ngo Quyen commune with an area of 30 hectares. Previously, this area was cultivated by 45 households. However, some households have not used all the land, so the efficiency of rice cultivation and tree planting is not high. The commune Farmers' Association has coordinated to propagate and mobilize people to exchange fields with each other to form a large model field.
The construction of “Fields with few human footprints” aims to create favorable conditions for people to apply science and technology in production, spray pesticides, and regulate irrigation water, thereby contributing to reducing labor and increasing economic efficiency of agricultural production.
Thanh Mien District Farmers' Association strives to build 2 more models this year in Le Hong and Tan Trao communes, with a scale of 30 hectares/model.
