The district currently has 34 "Zero Waste Field" models in 20 communes and towns.
According to the Farmers' Association of Ninh Giang district, the whole district has 34 "Zero-waste fields" models in 20 communes and towns with an area of over 550 hectares. Of which, Hong Du commune has built 13 models, the most in the district.
From late September to early October 2022, the district association established 37 self-management groups with 209 members. The members are responsible for propagating and reminding people to preserve and protect the environment; directly collecting waste in the fields. Previously, when the model was first established, only the branch presidents, deputy branch presidents and some members of the farmers' association participated in collecting waste.
