Thanh Ha district coordinated to give 45 gifts to disadvantaged families affected by storm No. 3.
Hai Duong Provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with Thanh Ha District People's Committee and Gia Loc Production and Trading Company Limited to give gifts to people in difficult circumstances affected by storm No. 3 in Thanh Ha district on the morning of October 10.
At the program, the Provincial Red Cross Society and the sponsor awarded 30 scholarships (each scholarship includes 1 million VND in cash and a gift worth 400,000 VND). The District Red Cross Society awarded 10 scholarships, worth 700,000 VND/scholarship.
The Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Thanh Ha District Branch, awarded 5 regular subsidies, worth 1.2 million VND/subsidy (these households have received subsidies for 3 consecutive years and will receive regular subsidies until the end of 2024).
Previously, right after storm No. 3, the Thanh Ha District Red Cross Society provided emergency support to 11 affected households with a total amount of 22 million VND.
