Thanh Ha cooperates to give 89 gifts to poor and near-poor households

On the occasion of Humanitarian Month, Thanh Ha district coordinated with sponsors to present 89 gifts, worth 500,000 VND/gift, to poor and near-poor households.

The Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Ha district has started to build a “great solidarity” house for the family of Mrs. Pham Thi Thanh (born in 1938), a poor household in Ngoai Dam village (An Phuong commune). The house has an area of ​​over 40 square meters, with an estimated cost of about 125 million VND, of which the Social Policy Bank of Hai Duong province supports 50 million VND, the rest is from the family.

In addition to gift-giving activities for households in difficult circumstances, the Thanh Ha District Red Cross Society also promotes humanitarian value propaganda activities, organizes a number of activities aimed at "connecting the community, spreading humanitarian actions" to call on organizations, individuals, and philanthropists to support resources to support poor, near-poor households, and disadvantaged people.

On this occasion, the Provincial Red Cross Society presented 20 bicycles to disadvantaged students who have excelled in their studies in the district.
