Donating "August 19 House" to a poor household in Van Phuc commune (Ninh Giang)

On August 16, the Youth Union and Women's Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Police in coordination with Hai Linh Pharmaceutical Company (Chi Linh), Ninh Giang District Women's Union, Ninh Giang District Police, Youth Unions of Economic Security Department, Economic Police, Criminal Police (Provincial Police) organized to present financial support and start construction of the "August 19th House" charity house for the family of Ms. Dinh Thi Khion, Ba Na ethnic group, born in 1992 in village 2, Van Phuc commune.

Dinh Thi Khion's family is one of the poorest households in Van Phuc commune. Her husband had liver cancer since 2018, and despite expensive treatment, he could not survive and passed away in 2022. Her husband's parents are old and weak and are also poor. She alone has to raise two young children. Her family is currently living in an old tiled house of only about 20 m2.²Built more than 40 years ago, seriously degraded.

The total funding to support the construction of the “August 19 House” is 60 million VND. On August 16, the construction of the “August 19 House” project began. In addition to the above funding, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police will help Ms. Khion’s family with some days of overtime work to speed up the completion of the project.

This is an activity to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024) and the 19th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2024).
