During the supervision session of the Legal Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council in Cam Giang district, a number of units requested attention and support in building and upgrading the Health Station after merging with commune-level administrative units.
On the morning of May 24, at the thematic supervision session of the Legal Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council with a number of Medical Stations and Medical Centers of Cam Giang district, the facilities of commune-level medical stations were an issue that many localities raised their opinions on.
The leaders of Cam Dien Commune People's Committee proposed to build a medical station headquarters when merging Cam Dien and Cam Phuc communes into Phuc Dien commune at a new location to facilitate the people of the whole commune in visiting and taking care of their health. The facilities at Cam Dien Commune Medical Station are currently degraded.
The leader of Cam Giang District People's Committee said that due to limited funding, the district has not been able to focus on investing in medical stations. Medical stations in some communes have not been invested in and upgraded synchronously.
Meanwhile, Cam Giang is an area with many industrial parks and a dense population. Commune-level health stations in the district are serving and caring for a large number of people, requiring great demand for facilities and equipment.
According to Cam Giang District Medical Center, the merger of commune-level administrative units also affects the operation of the Medical Station and recommends that the province pay attention to supporting investment in building medical facilities and equipment to better meet the needs of medical examination and treatment of the people.
