Primary school students in Hai Duong city are excited to make their own scientific products.
On the afternoon of January 24, at Tan Binh Primary School, the Department of Education and Training of Hai Duong City organized a workshop and STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) experience activity for primary school level for the 2023-2024 school year.
The STEM festival attracted 12 booths displaying STEM products from primary schools, including: Tan Binh, Ly Tu Trong, To Hieu, Nguyen Luong Bang, Cam Thuong, Hai Tan, Dinh Van Ta, Tu Minh, Nam Dong, Binh Minh, Tan Hung, Ngoc Son, Ai Quoc, Tran Quoc Toan... The models had hundreds of science, technology and engineering products made by students based on their knowledge and guidance from teachers. The students were all very excited and proud to make their own scientific products.
The festival has many meaningful and practical activities to evaluate the initial implementation of STEM education content at primary level, thereby creating opportunities for schools to exchange, learn, share knowledge and products in the field of STEM education; at the same time, creating a useful playground about STEM - Robotics for students.
The organizers awarded and presented certificates to schools with creative booths and excellent booths.
At the workshop, representatives of leaders and teachers of primary schools in Hai Duong city wereVietnam's leading STEM experts share content, knowledge, skills, methods, and forms of building and organizing STEM application activities.
Through exhibition activities and comments from STEM experts, the Department of Education and Training of Hai Duong City will select suitable activities to participate in the Provincial STEM Experience Day for the 2023-2024 school year.
Accompanying the program, Phoenix Vietnam Education Development Joint Stock Company and Hung Vuong Company Limited brought 2 technology booths.
Along with the program's activities, Hai Duong City students had more opportunities to access programming languages, automation, robotics, etc., thereby practicing problem-solving thinking and creating highly applicable products and projects.
