Hai Duong Department of Construction needs to pay more attention to coordinating better with departments, branches and localities to deploy work smoothly.

On the morning of May 31, comrade Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, worked with the leadership, departments and units of the Department of Construction on the work results in the first 5 months of 2024 and the direction and tasks for the coming time.

Concluding the meeting, Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of the Department of Construction to the province's socio-economic development in recent times. Although the total number of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Department is not large, they have made great efforts and excellently completed the assigned tasks.

Regarding the key tasks in the coming time, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang suggested that the Department of Construction should pay more attention to coordinating better with departments, branches and localities to carry out the work smoothly. Do a good job in Party building, building a team of civil servants and public employees who are united, make efforts and strive to successfully implement the targets and tasks of the industry. Fully and well perform the functions and tasks of the department according to regulations.

Based on the actual situation, the department's leaders need to be proactive and flexible in using the staff to meet the requirements of the task. Pay attention to proposing and reporting to the province to complete a Deputy Director of the department. It is necessary to review all policies of the construction industry to advise on amending, supplementing or abolishing policies that are no longer suitable; specify and implement new policies and laws; strengthen inspection, supervision and guidance for localities in state management of construction. Focus on resolving outstanding work, promptly overcoming limitations and removing arising problems.

Comrade Tran Duc Thang emphasized that the Department of Construction needs to actively advise the province on planning to build social housing for workers, with a need for about 20,000 people. Strengthen management of construction order, paying attention to appropriate decentralization, focusing on inspection and guidance for localities. Urgently establish, advise on approval of all types of planning, arrange public headquarters, maintain works... Advise on promoting the contribution of the construction industry to the province's GRDP.

Every month, the Department of Construction must promptly announce the prices of construction materials, ensuring that they are close to market prices. Department leaders must closely direct to remove difficulties and obstacles of the industry. For issues beyond their authority, they must promptly report to the Provincial People's Committee.

Before that, the conference had 14 discussion opinions from leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, departments and branches related to coordination work, solving some problems, and tasks that need to be implemented in the coming time of the construction industry.
