Hai Duong Department of Education and Training plans to hold the provincial-level 10th grade excellent student exam on April 5.

The subjects, conditions for participating in the exam and the formation of the team… are the same as the previous school year. Accordingly, each candidate registers to take one of the following subjects: math, physics, chemistry, biology, literature, history, geography, English. The English exam is a combination of essay and multiple choice, testing listening, reading, and writing skills; the remaining subjects are essay tests. The exam time is 180 minutes.

The condition for participating in the contest is that students must have good or better academic and training results in the first semester of the 2023-2024 school year. For public high schools, there are 3 students/team; for private high schools, 2 students/team; for Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted, 20 students/team.

The Department of Education and Training organized the exam at two locations in Hai Duong City: Hong Quang High School and Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted.

In this exam in the 2022-2023 school year, Hai Duong has 1,154 candidates from 46 public and non-public high schools participating in the exam. The Department of Education and Training recognized 692 prize-winning candidates, including 8 first prizes, 109 second prizes, 301 third prizes and 274 consolation prizes.
