On the morning of March 19, comrade Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to listen to the proposal to establish two high schools in Chi Linh City.
At the meeting, the Department of Education and Training reported two proposals on allowing the establishment of Nguyen Thi Due High School and Tri Duc Primary, Secondary and High School in Chi Linh City.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung affirmed that the province wishes and encourages organizations, businesses and individuals to invest in building schools to meet the needs of the people as well as the province's educational development policy. However, he noted that the establishment of schools must comply with the procedures and regulations of the law. Sao Do University and the investor Thanh Dong Education Development Joint Stock Company received opinions from relevant departments and branches; coordinated with the People's Committee of Chi Linh City to add the school to the city's master plan. The Department of Justice coordinated to continue reviewing legal documents, legal bases, etc. to advise the Provincial People's Committee. The Department of Education and Training took the lead in coordinating to urgently complete the documents related to the establishment of 2 high schools to report to the Provincial People's Committee as soon as possible.
According to the proposal to establish Nguyen Thi Due High School under Sao Do University, this will be a public high school, fully self-sufficient in regular expenses. The school's headquarters will be located at Sao Do University's Campus II. It is expected that in the 2024-2025 school year, the school can enroll 7-9 classes with 315-405 students. From the 2028-2029 school year, it will maintain 27 classes with 1,215 students.
According to the proposal to establish Tri Duc Primary, Secondary and High School, this is a private high school invested by Thanh Dong Education Development Joint Stock Company. The school is located at km 39, National Highway 18, Dai Son urban area, Cong Hoa ward (Chi Linh). It is expected that in the 2024-2025 school year, the school will enroll 13 classes with 430 students; in the 2025-2026 school year, it will enroll 20 classes with 680 students; in the 2026-2027 school year, it will enroll 27 classes with 930 students.
Chi Linh City currently has 4 high schools, including: Chi Linh, Pha Lai, Tran Phu, Ben Tam and the Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education. The number of students has increased sharply in recent years and the following years. In the past 3 years, Chi Linh City has had over 1,000 junior high school graduates who were not admitted to public high schools. Many students in the city have to go to neighboring provinces to study. In addition, many students in neighboring localities also have the need to study in Chi Linh City. The establishment of these 2 schools is in line with social needs, especially in densely populated areas, urban areas, industrial parks; in line with the policy of encouraging socialization of education; reducing the load on public schools...
