On the afternoon of November 30, the Culture - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council worked with the Department of Home Affairs and a number of related units on the submission and draft Resolution "Regulations on piloting support policies for teachers in the education and training sector in Hai Duong province"; discussed the operating model and financial mechanism for pedagogical practice schools under Hai Duong University.

Also attending the meeting was Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Khac Toan.

According to the draft Resolution "Regulations on piloting support policies for teachers in the education and training sector in Hai Duong province", in addition to identifying people and support time, the proposed support level is 1 million VND/person/month for teachers at public preschools; 700,000 VND/person/month for teachers with a salary (including current salary and allowances) of less than 6,000,000 VND/month from January 1, 2024 until the salary increase according to Resolution No. 27-NQ/TW dated May 21, 2018 or less than 7,400,000 VND/month from the salary increase according to Resolution No. 27-NQ/TW dated May 21, 2018. The proposed support period is from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2025.

At the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Khac Toan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, said that regarding the operating model of the pedagogical practice schools under Hai Duong University, it is necessary to review the regulations at the time of establishment to see if they are correct or not. Hai Duong University needs to redefine the operating model of these schools to make appropriate proposals, ensuring effective operation, serving the educational cause of the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Thi Huong, Head of the Culture - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council, requested the Department of Home Affairs to accept the comments of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Khac Toan and related units to complete the submission and draft resolution to ensure that no one is left out of the list of people eligible for support and the level of support. The provisions of the resolution are easy to implement, avoiding misunderstandings about wording, and reorganizing some parts to make them more appropriate.

The Head of the Provincial People's Council's Culture and Social Committee also requested Hai Duong University and related units to accurately identify the type of school activities and make appropriate proposals.
