The establishment of Nam Hai Duong Primary, Secondary and High School meets the growing population and is consistent with the policy of diversifying education types.
The Provincial People's Committee has allowed the establishment of Nam Hai Duong Primary, Secondary and High School in Lien Hong Commune (Hai Duong City). This is a private school, invested by Thanh Dong Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company.
Nam Hai Duong Primary, Secondary and High School will be built on an area of 8,392 m2, with an investment capital of nearly 99 billion VND, and a training scale of 820 students/school year.
According to the Department of Education and Training, based on the population size of Hai Duong City in the following years (9th grade students in the 2020-2021 school year are 4,485 students, the 2023-2024 school year will increase to 5,323 students), the enrollment quota for public schools in the area is 1,512 students, 372 specialized school quotas in the province, leading to a huge demand for students studying at private high schools. Districts bordering Hai Duong City such as Cam Giang and Gia Loc do not have private high schools. The proposal of Thanh Dong Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company to establish Nam Hai Duong Primary, Secondary and High Schools is in line with the policy of encouraging socialization of education, opening private schools in densely populated areas, urban areas, and industrial parks, meeting the need for investment in educational facilities, and reducing the burden on public schools.
