Giving birth to 9 children in a row to "take advantage of good genes"

Li Mei, 32, and businessman Zhao Wanlong, 35, from Henan, China, regularly share their family's daily lives on social media platform Douyin with nearly 800,000 followers.

In a recent video, the mother recorded the scene of 9 children lining up to receive lucky money and wish their parents a happy new year in a lively and warm atmosphere. In another photo, 11 family members are dressed in red, filled with the flavor of Tet.

Her husband Zhao Wanlong grew up in a wealthy family and is now a successful businessman. Zhao fell in love with Li at first sight in high school. They got married in 2008 and had their first daughter two years later. Li originally planned to have another child, hoping to have both a boy and a girl.

Unexpectedly, during her second pregnancy, she gave birth to two Dragon-year sons. Seeing that having many children brings joy to the family, from 2016 to 2022, she became pregnant almost every year.

The couple now has nine children, three girls and six boys, and are planning to have more. "I want to have all 12 zodiac signs," she said.

Because of the large family, Li's in-laws hired a nutritionist to plan three meals. There are six nannies and maids in the house. Li only has to take care of herself and help with the children, without having to cook or do housework. After each birth, she received special care so her body recovered quickly and she still maintained her youthful figure.

The family currently lives in a villa of several hundred square meters. In the videos shared, the family lives a prosperous life.
