Minh Nhua's Pagani Huayra is said to have been "transferred" to Cuong Do La after changing the license plate, when this supercar appeared in the mountain town playboy's house.
Minh Nhua (aka businessman Pham Tran Nhat Minh) has long been known as the person who brought to Vietnam rare supercars worth millions of dollars such as Lamborghini Aventador SV Coupe, Lamborghini Murcielago SV, Bugatti Veyron, Pagani Huayra and most recently the McLaren Elva worth more than 143 billion VND.
Recently on his personal page, the plastics businessman shared a picture of his Pagani Huayra with the new license plate 51L-004.05. The last number is said to have a special meaning, often associated with the plastic company that Minh Nhua is running with his family. The previous decal layer has been stripped off, returning the car to its original orange paint color.
Although it is said that the license plate was only changed and the owner was not changed as the Saigon car player shared, many people still believe that the car worth 80 billion VND is owned by Cuong Do La (aka businessman Nguyen Quoc Cuong).
The businessman from the mountain town personally drove the Pagani Huayra to his home. The image of the car in Cuong Do La's garage was also shared by Minh Nhua on his personal page.
Minh Nhua bought the only Pagani Huayra in Vietnam in September 2016. The car is a 2013 model, bought in Dubai (United Arab Emirates). It was not until October 2018 that the car had the license plate 51G-697.55. At that time, the car was rumored to be worth about 80 billion VND. Minh Nhua had to wait 2 years to get the license plate due to procedural problems.
The Pagani Huayra is known as the "wind god" because its name comes from Aymara Huayra Tata, the South American god of wind. The name is also appropriate for a car that can accelerate "as fast as the wind".
Launched globally in 2011, the Italian supercar has a starting price of around $1 million. This expensive price partly comes from the car's completely handcrafted process. The body is pressed from a single piece of carbon fiber, while the bolts are made from titanium. There are up to 15 types of carbon used in this model, at a cost of around $500 per square foot (30x30 cm).
According to the Italian car company, only 100 Pagani Huayra cars will be produced worldwide. This limited quantity comes from the agreement between Pagani and Mercedes-AMG, when the German car company only provided 100 M158 engines for Huayra. Along with the meticulous handcrafting process, the value of this supercar model is increasing.
Despite being a hypercar, the Pagani Huayra's performance is not too impressive. The car's power comes from a 6.0L twin-turbocharged V12 engine, with a maximum capacity of 719 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1,000 Nm. Thanks to that, the car easily accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 383 km/h.
To date, this is still the only Pagani available in Vietnam.
