This is the content proposed by the People's Committee of Hai Duong province at the 15th session (special session) of the Provincial People's Council held on the afternoon of June 2.
According to the report of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee on the proposal to decide on the investment policy for the project to build Tan An bridge and the connecting road to National Highway 18 (Chi Linh City), the total estimated investment for this project is 600 billion VND.
Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee said the investment goal is to connect with the project to build a new route connecting the intersection of Provincial Road 390 to National Highway 18, the section passing through Nam Sach District, to gradually complete the inter-regional traffic axis, connecting National Highway 5 with National Highway 18 from Hai Duong City via Han Bridge, through Nam Sach District to Chi Linh City. Reduce the load on the current traffic system, especially National Highway 37. Gradually complete the regional traffic system according to the plan.
The project's funding comes from the Hai Duong provincial budget in the medium-term public investment plan for the 2021-2025 period. Of the total investment of 600 billion VND, the estimated cost of compensation, support and resettlement accounts for more than 90.1 billion VND, the construction cost accounts for nearly 431.5 billion VND and other costs. The project implementation period is in the 2023-2025 period.
The starting point of the project is at the intersection with National Highway 18 (equivalent to about km 33+365) in Chi Minh Ward (Chi Linh City); the end point is about km 3+485.47 in Nam Tan Commune (Nam Sach). The route length is about 3.5 km.
This project is a group B project invested by the Hai Duong Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board.
In its review report on this content, the Economic and Budget Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council said that the Provincial People's Council's decision on the investment policy for this project was within its authority. The project has been determined to be consistent with current planning and necessary for investment.
