Coach Park Hang-seo's football academy is in the final stages of completion, preparing to launch in Vietnam with a different orientation from Hoang Anh Gia Lai's training model.

During the EdulightenUP seminar, coach Park Hang-seo revealed some information related to the Park Hang-seo International Football Academy project.
Coach Park's football academy will focus on developing school football. The academy targets students between the ages of 5 and 11.
The school football model aims to help children improve their physical health, train their resilience and develop teamwork skills. Coach Park's football academy will combine football education standards with schools, closely linked to the school's extracurricular activities.
The school football model that Coach Park is aiming for is not the same as the training model of HAGL. HAGL's football training goal focuses on developing talents to compete professionally.
In Korea, the school football model is very developed. Many schools are famous for discovering and training young talents to become professional players, contributing to the national team. A familiar figure in Vietnamese football who started from school football is Coach Gong Oh-kyun. The former coach of the Vietnam U23 team studied at Bupyeong High School, which trained a number of famous players in Korea such as Lee Lim-saeng, Lee Keun-ho and Kim Jung-woo.
In Vietnam, the school football model is not new. In 2019, AC Milan Club also opened a youth training academy in Hanoi with the school football model. At the ceremony to announce the establishment of the Academy, Mr. Gianmarcao Sozzi, Head of AC Milan Academy Project Department, shared clearly about the goals of the academy.
"Football is a popular sport in the world. Besides, football also plays an important role in helping children exercise and play sports every day. In addition, football also trains children in teamwork skills and develops skills to become good members of society. Our students are always taught to play football in a civilized and fair manner," said Mr. Sozzi.
It can be seen that AC Milan Academy and Coach Park Football Academy have the same training model. Currently, Coach Park Academy is in the final stages of completion. The academy is expected to launch in 2023 in Hanoi. Meanwhile, AC Milan Academy in Hanoi has been operating since 2019 and has 150 students including both boys and girls.
