The National Assembly considered and passed 8 draft laws in the last week of the 5th Session.

During the last working week of the 5th Session, the National Assembly will spend the whole day of June 21 discussing in the hall the draft Law on Land (amended).

During the last working week of the 5th Session (from June 19-24), the National Assembly voted to pass a number of laws and resolutions.

The National Assembly voted to pass the Law on Prices (amended); the Law on Cooperatives (amended); the Law on Civil Defense; the Law on Consumer Protection (amended); the Law on Electronic Transactions (amended); the Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on People's Public Security; the Law on Bidding (amended); the Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Exit and Entry of Vietnamese Citizens and the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam.

The resolutions to be voted on by the National Assembly include: Resolution on approving the 2021 state budget settlement; Resolution on deciding on the investment policy for the road project from National Highway 27C to Provincial Road DT.656 in Khanh Hoa province - connecting with Lam Dong and Ninh Thuan; Resolution on assigning the list and capital level for tasks and projects under the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program; assigning, adjusting and supplementing the medium-term public investment plan of the central budget for the period 2021-2025 and allocating the 2023 central budget investment plan of the National Target Program; Resolution on establishing the National Assembly's Thematic Supervision Delegation in 2024; Resolution on taking a vote of confidence, a vote of no confidence for people holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly and People's Councils (amended).

The National Assembly voted to pass the Resolution on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Ho Chi Minh City; Resolution on questions and answers; Resolution on the results of thematic supervision of "mobilization, management and use of resources for COVID-19 prevention and control; implementation of policies and laws on grassroots health and preventive medicine"; Resolution of the 5th Session, 15th National Assembly (including the content on: Adjusting the investment policy of the Ka Pet Reservoir Project, Ham Thuan Nam District, Binh Thuan Province; continuing to implement the policy of reducing value added tax by 2% according to Resolution No. 43/2022/QH15 dated January 11, 2022 and the policy of investing in additional charter capital for the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development).

According to the program, during the working week, the National Assembly will discuss the following draft laws: Law on Housing (amended); Law on Real Estate Business (amended); Law on Forces Participating in Protecting Security and Order at the Grassroots Level; Law on Water Resources (amended); Law on Telecommunications (amended); Law on Citizen Identification (amended); Law on Management and Protection of National Defense Works and Military Zones.

In particular, the National Assembly will spend the whole day of June 21 discussing in the hall the draft Land Law (amended).
