Today, April 27, the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee decided to discipline by expelling from the Party Mr. Pham Van Thanh, Deputy Head of the Organization Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee and Mr. Nguyen Van Binh, Member of the Executive Committee of the Dong Trieu Town Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee of the Dong Trieu Town Party Committee, due to their involvement in violations at Viet A Technology Joint Stock Company, which occurred at the Dong Trieu Town Medical Center.
Mr. Pham Van Thanh, during his tenure as Secretary of the Town Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Trieu Town, and Mr. Nguyen Van Binh, during his tenure as Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Trieu Town, although not seeking personal gain, were irresponsible and gave directions contrary to regulations in the process of deploying and implementing Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control, causing serious consequences.
Mr. Pham Van Thanh and Mr. Nguyen Van Binh have both been prosecuted by the Investigation Police Agency of Quang Ninh Province, causing negative public opinion and anger among cadres, party members and people, damaging their own reputation and affecting the reputation of the party organization, agency and unit where they live and work.
