'Tu Ky - Hai Duong braised crab' wins gold prize at Quang Ninh Culinary Festival

In addition to winning the gold prize with the dish 'Tu Ky - Hai Duong braised crab', the representative of Hai Duong Provincial Tourism Association also won the best presentation award at the Quang Ninh Food Festival 2024.

From December 26-29, at Sun Carnival Plaza (Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City), the Quang Ninh Culinary Festival 2024 will take place with the theme "Quang Ninh - Destination of culinary quintessence".

Participating in the event, the representative of Hai Duong Province Tourism Association brought a new and interesting experience to the delegates with an “organic feast”. The feast’s main dish was braised crab along with many other dishes such as fried crab with betel leaves, boiled sweet potato leaves with crab sauce, fruits, etc. All ingredients were exploited on the same area on 5 different floors of the organic crab farming area in Tu Ky district.

The Organizing Committee awarded 28 prizes, including: 1 special prize, 2 gold prizes, 5 silver prizes, 5 bronze prizes, 5 encouragement prizes, 5 beautiful decoration prizes, and 5 presentation prizes to units and businesses.

In addition to winning the gold prize with the dish 'Tu Ky - Hai Duong braised crab', the representative of Hai Duong Province Tourism Association also won the best presentation award.

The 2024 Quang Ninh Food Festival attracted 130 units from 32 provinces and cities representing the North - Central - South regions to participate with a total of 200 booths. The event also had the participation of many 4-5 star hotels, bringing a unique and impressive space for culinary cultural exchange.

Participating in the festival, Hai Duong Tourism Association has a booth displaying Hai Duong specialties: green bean cake, Thanh Ha lychee, organic rice from Bai Ruoi, fish sauce, products made from Ruoi... Including many OCOP products.
