Delegation of National Assembly of Hai Duong province visited and presented gifts to border guards in Quang Ninh

On December 20-21, the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province visited and presented gifts to officers and soldiers of Hoanh Mo Border Guard Station, Binh Lieu district; Po Hen Border Guard Station, Mong Cai city (Quang Ninh).

The delegation respectfully offered incense and laid wreaths at the Po Hen Martyrs' Memorial (Mong Cai City), commemorating the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the war to protect the border. Here, on February 17, 1979, officers and soldiers of Border Post 209, now Po Hen Border Post, officers of Hai Son Forestry, and Mong Cai commercial staff fought bravely to protect every inch of the sacred land of the Fatherland.

Visiting the work and life of officers and soldiers at border posts, on behalf of the delegation, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province Nguyen Thi Viet Nga encouraged all officers and soldiers to perform their tasks well, be ready to fight, and maintain sovereignty and border security.

The National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province presented gifts and 5 million VND to Hoanh Mo Border Guard Station and Po Hen Border Guard Station each.
