The latest poll shows Mr Trump leading his rival Ms Harris by two percentage points nationally, less than two weeks before Election Day.
According to the results of a nationwide survey by Forbes in collaboration with HarrisX Research, Analytics and Strategic Consulting released on October 24, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump won 51% of the support and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris won 49%. In a similar survey in September, Ms. Harris led Mr. Trump by 4 points.
However, many voters said they were still weighing their options. Twelve percent of likely voters and 18 percent of registered voters said they were undecided.
Candidates from both parties are campaigning hard in battleground states, trying to win every vote possible as Election Day nears. In what is considered one of the tightest races of all time, just a handful of votes could determine the winner.
Harris X founder and CEO Dritan Nesho said this year's election will be "a tight, competitive race" right up until the last minute. The outcome will depend on voter turnout and the 18% of undecided voters.
The HarrisX/Forbes poll was conducted October 21-22 among 1,244 likely voters and has a margin of error of 2.5 percentage points.
Meanwhile, a University of Massachusetts Amherst poll released the same day showed Ms. Harris with 44% support compared to Mr. Trump's 42%. 2% said they "would support" someone else, 6% were "unsure" of their choice and 6% "probably would not vote." The survey was conducted from October 11-16, with the participation of 1,500 people and had a margin of error of 3.1 percentage points.
A Hill/Decision Desk poll shows the vice president leading his opponent by 0.9 points nationally, at 48.7% to 47.8%.
