Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang re-elected President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor

On the morning of December 3, at the National Convention Center, Hanoi, the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union held its closing session.

On the morning of December 3, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, term XIII, 2023 - 2028, introduced 168 members. At the same time, at the First Conference of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, term XIII, unanimously elected Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang to be re-elected as President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

The Vice Presidents of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for the 2023 - 2028 term include: Mr. Phan Van Anh, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong, Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang was born on May 23, 1967; hometown Thuan Thanh district, Bac Ninh province, has a Master's degree in Economic Management. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang has held the following positions: Head of the Board, Standing Member of the Board of Supervisors of Vietnam Chemical Corporation; General Director of Vietnam Chemical Finance Joint Stock Company; Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of Vietnam Chemical Group; Member of the 12th Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2010-2015 term; Secretary of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term. From July 2019, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang was elected to hold the position of President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for the 2018-2023 term.
