High-chassis cars suitable for first-time car buyers

Mitsubishi Xpander

Mitsubishi Xpander is positioned in the popular 5+2-seat MPV segment, has high chassis and sells very well in the Vietnamese automobile market. Currently, the car has a domestically assembled manual transmission version, the remaining versions are imported from Indonesia, with announced prices ranging from 560 to 698 million VND.

Kia Seltos

This Korean car model has also affirmed its position in the Vietnamese automobile market in recent years. The car model assembled in Vietnam is increasingly provided with many version options by THACO AUTO.

Currently, Kia Seltos has 12 versions launched in the Vietnamese market, including 6 versions priced under 700 million VND.

Compared to Sonet, Kia Seltos has a larger design, offers a more spacious interior and more features.

Toyota Raize

Toyota Raize is imported completely from Indonesia. The car is also the cheapest in the A-size SUV segment when sold in a version priced at 498 million VND.

The design of the Raize is also aimed more at male customers with a strong, square style. However, the car has a slightly lower engine capacity than many competitors with 98 horsepower and 140 Nm of torque, combined with a CVT gearbox.

The amenities on the Raize are also adequate. Overall, this small SUV is for those who like imported cars, or are passionate about Toyota cars but still want to save money.

Kia Sorento

As an A+/B- sized urban SUV assembled domestically since the end of 2021, Kia Sonet attracts users thanks to its sporty and flexible design. In particular, the car has a relatively large ground clearance of 205 mm, equivalent to some C-sized crossover models, very suitable for urban driving.

The car is equipped with a 1.5L Smartstream engine, 113 horsepower and 144 Nm torque, with a CVT automatic transmission.

Hyundai Venue

As a Korean car of the same size and also assembled domestically like Sonet, Hyundai Venue targets young customers who are buying cars for the first time and those who need a compact high-chassis car to move around the city. The car has an impressive design with a large grille quite similar to Palisade.

In terms of price, Hyundai Venue is slightly higher than its domestic competitor when it is sold at 539 - 579 million VND. However, this model has the advantage in terms of performance when it has a capacity of up to 118 horsepower and maximum torque of 172 Nm even though it only uses a 1.0L engine.
