List of high-chassis car models about to be introduced to Vietnamese customers

Ford Ranger Stormtrak 2024 is one of the high-chassis vehicle models about to be introduced to Vietnamese customers.

Here are some high-chassis car models preparing to launch in the Vietnamese market.

Ford Ranger Stormtrak 2024

The 2024 Ford Ranger Stormtrak is a special version of the Ranger pickup truck line in Vietnam, replacing the Wildtrak version. This high-chassis vehicle is currently being accepted by dealers for two versions, 4x2 and 4x4, and is expected to be delivered next April.

The appearance of the 2024 Stormtrak is quite outstanding with a new grille, hidden lights inside, 20-inch alloy wheels and Stormtrak logo along with diagonal stripe decals on both sides of the body, and wheels with red accents.

The “heart” of the 2024 Ford Ranger Stormtrak is a 2.0L bi-turbo diesel engine similar to the Wildtrak. This engine produces 210 horsepower and 500 Nm of maximum torque. The engine is combined with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The price of the Ford Ranger Stormtrak has not been announced yet, but is estimated to be higher than the 864 million VND of the Sport version.

Hyundai Santa Fe 2024

In early 2024, the new Hyundai Santa Fe was introduced in the Philippine market. Some sources said that this high-chassis vehicle is expected to be brought to Vietnam this year.

Hyundai Santa Fe 2024 has a square shape, similar to Land Rovers

The exterior of the 2024 Santa Fe is completely new with a square shape, similar to Land Rovers. Along with that, the front daytime running lights and H-shaped taillights are also completely new. The car has length, width and height parameters of 4,830 x 1,900 x 1,720 (mm) and a wheelbase of 2,815 mm, 45 mm longer, 20 mm higher and a wheelbase increased by 50 mm compared to the previous generation.

In terms of operation, the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe will no longer have a diesel engine. The car will have 4 engine options: a 2.5L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine (with a capacity of 278 horsepower and a maximum torque of 422 Nm); a 1.6L hybrid engine (with a capacity of 177 horsepower and a maximum torque of 265 Nm); a 2.5L non-turbocharged gasoline engine (with a capacity of 192 horsepower and a maximum torque of 246 Nm) and a plug-in hybrid version (with a capacity of 158 horsepower and a maximum torque of 265 Nm).

Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2024

Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2024 has just been granted industrial design protection by the National Office of Intellectual Property in Vietnam. Sales consultants in the Hanoi area said that this high-chassis vehicle model has opened for deposit at authorized dealers with prices starting from VND 2.628 billion, expected to be delivered in July.

The 2024 Land Cruiser Prado will be imported completely from Japan. The version to be sold in the Vietnamese market will use a 2.4L turbocharged gasoline engine, with a capacity of 326 horsepower and a maximum torque of 630 Nm, combined with a small electric motor and an 8-speed automatic transmission. The car uses a full-time 4-wheel drive system and has a center differential lock and a rear differential.

Many people believe that the price of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2024 when it arrives in Vietnam will be higher than the current price (2.628 billion). Previously, this high-chassis car model was in a state of high price difference due to scarcity of goods.

Ford Everest Platinum

Ford Vietnam has officially announced the Ford Everest Platinum, the most advanced version of the car line, ranked above Titanium and can replace the current Wildtrak version. However, the price of the Ford Everest Platinum has not been revealed yet.

The dealer revealed the selling price of Ford Everest Platinum is about 1.7 billion.

Unlike rumors about the V6 version, the Everest Platinum will still be equipped with the same 2.0 diesel engine as the remaining versions, but with a Bi-turbo system. The estimated selling price of the Platinum version is expected to be around 1.7 billion VND, about 200 million VND higher than the current Wildtrak version.
