The Vietnamese auto market is preparing to welcome many notable high-chassis models such as the Toyota Corolla Cross 2024, Haval Jolion, and the new Land Cruiser Prado.
Toyota Corolla Cross 2024
Toyota has confirmed that the 2024 Corolla Cross facelift will officially launch in the Vietnamese market on May 6. The car has been slightly upgraded in terms of exterior with a new grille and LED headlights, along with a number of other improvements.
In this year's upgrade, the standard G version of the Corolla Cross has been removed. The car will only have 2 configuration options: the V gasoline version priced at 820 million VND and the hybrid version priced at 905 million VND, 50 million VND lower than the previous generation. Toyota Corolla Cross 2024 continues to be imported from Thailand.
Toyota Hilux 2024
In addition to the Corolla Cross 2024, sales consultants said the upgraded Toyota Hilux will also be launched in Vietnam in May. This model has been absent in our country for more than a year because it did not meet Euro 5 emission standards, leading to ineligibility for import.
In this comeback, Toyota Hilux 2024 is revealed by dealers to have 3 variants: 4x4 MT, 4x2 AT and Adventure, with expected prices ranging from 670 million to 1 billion VND.
Haval Jolion
After missing its launch date at the end of April, the hybrid Haval Jolion is expected to hit shelves this May. According to sales consultants, the car will have two versions imported from Thailand, with an expected starting price of under 700 million VND.
Haval Jolion is positioned in the B-class urban SUV segment and competes with a series of similar names such as: Kia Seltos, Mitsubishi Xforce, Hyundai Creta or Honda HR-V.
GWM Tank 300
In addition to the Haval Jolion, China's Great Wall Motor (GWM) Group is also expected to bring the Tank 300 off-road SUV to Vietnam this year. The model has a popular boxy design reminiscent of the Land Rover Defender or Jeep.
Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2024
Since early February, many dealers have begun accepting deposits for the 2024 Land Cruiser Prado. Sales consultants revealed that the car is expected to be imported to Vietnam around July with an estimated price of about 3 billion VND.
Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2024 is imported completely from Japan, so the first batch will not be much. Due to demand being greater than supply, the selling price at the dealer can be from 500 million to more than 1 billion VND.
