In 2022, many universities will implement diverse admission methods.
2022,Hanoi Law UniversityIt is expected to recruit 2,265 students (an increase of 265 students compared to 2021). Of which, 100 students are for the joint training program with the University of Arizona - USA and 165 students are for the branch in Dak Lak.
With 2,000 quotas at the Hanoi campus, the school reserves 49% for considering high school exam results, 49% for considering academic records and 2% for considering excellent students and direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. In addition to the school's traditional majors such as Law, Economic Law, International Trade Law and English Language, in 2022, Hanoi Law University will open 3 more majors: High-quality Economic Law, Intellectual Property and Enforcement Law.

With 27 majors, the school is divided into five majors: Business and Management, Law; Technology - Engineering; Languages, Social Sciences with quotas of 1,650-1,950. These three majors all have majors recruiting 700-800 students: Business Administration, Information Technology and Chinese Language; Arts and Health majors, recruiting 150 and 550 respectively.
According to the newly announced university admission plan ofHanoi University of Home AffairsThis year, the school plans to enroll 2,000 students for 22 majors and training specialties at three campuses in Hanoi, Quang Nam, and Ho Chi Minh City, an increase of 100 compared to last year. Of which, the Hanoi headquarters will enroll 1,680 students, and each of the remaining campuses will enroll 160 students.
The University of Home Affairs implements a variety of university admission methods, including still using the old methods as in 2021 and adding a new admission method, which is admission based on the results of the competency assessment test and international English certificate admission.
The admission method is based on the results of the competency assessment test of the two National Universities, and the international English certificate. If using the competency assessment test score, candidates must achieve a minimum of 550 points or more, applicable to the separate test organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University or 70 points applicable to the competency assessment test results of Hanoi National University. This condition applies to all three campuses of Hanoi University of Home Affairs nationwide.
If using an international English certificate, candidates are required to meet two criteria: IELTS 4.5 or higher or equivalent TOEFL iBT, TOEFL ITP certificate, grade 12 average score not less than 6.5.
