Sticking advertisements on transformer stations and electrical cabinets poses a risk of electric shock and violates the law.
On the transformer stations or electrical cabinets of Hai Duong Electricity Company Limited, there are signs "Do not approach, there is electricity, it is dangerous to die" or "Danger of high voltage" to help people see the level of danger. However, despite the danger and warnings, many people, even businesses, hire people to post advertisements such as: real estate consulting, room rental, moving house, industrial cleaning, forklift service, crane service... Even at some transformer stations, electrical cabinets, the danger warning signs are covered by trash advertisements.
Sticking junk advertisements on transformer stations not only spoils the aesthetic, poses a risk of electric shock, but also violates the law.
According to Clause 1, Article 34 of Decree 38/2021/ND-CP of the Government regulating administrative sanctions for violations in the fields of culture and advertising, the act of hanging, placing, pasting, or drawing advertising products on electric poles, traffic signal poles, and trees in public places... will be fined from 1-2 million VND.
In addition, in Clause 2, Article 34 of the above Decree, individuals who advertise in a way that affects urban aesthetics, traffic safety and social order will be fined from 10 to 20 million VND and organizations that violate the law will be fined double.
