Mrs. Hoang Thi Khin - the person who directly brought food and sheltered Uncle Ho when he was working in Pac Bo has just passed away at the age of 103.

On April 6, Mr. Trieu Van Thuan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Truong Ha commune (Ha Quang district, Cao Bang) said that Ms. Hoang Thi Khin (a veteran revolutionary, the person who directly brought food and hid Uncle Ho when he was working in Pac Bo, Cao Bang) had just passed away.

"Mrs. Hoang Thi Khin passed away at 8:00 a.m. on March 31. She was 103 years old. During her lifetime, she was a shining example and the pride of her homeland. Due to old age and poor health, she passed away. The funeral for Ms. Khin was solemnly held on April 4. The funeral to send her to her final resting place was held on the morning of April 5," Mr. Thuan added.

According to the Chairman of the People's Committee of Truong Ha commune, upon hearing the news of Mr. Khin's death, the Party Committee and the government of Truong Ha commune came to encourage and share with Mr. Khin's relatives and at the same time established a funeral committee to organize a funeral for him.

Mrs. Hoang Thi Khin is a Nung ethnic, who participated in logistics, supply work, and served Uncle Ho during the time he lived and worked in Pac Bo. In 1941, when assigned, Mrs. Khin and her sister went into the forest to bring food to Uncle Ho. During the meetings and listening to Uncle Ho's stories, Mrs. Khin became enlightened and enthusiastically participated in revolutionary activities.

Mr. Khin was also the one who encouraged women in the village to go to school, contribute food, sell firewood in exchange for salt to feed the cadres... When he was old, Mr. Khin always propagated and reminded his children and grandchildren to follow Uncle Ho's spirit to build their homeland into a model homeland.
