From August 1, for domestically manufactured and assembled vehicles, first registration will be done through online public services, so people can sit at home to do the procedures without having to go to the vehicle registration office as before.
By the afternoon of the same day, according to the Traffic Police Department, a citizen had successfully registered a vehicle via the VNeID application.
Specifically, at noon of the same day, the owner of the motorbike registered the vehicle and stamped the Hanoi license plate number 29BD-067.XX.

According to the Traffic Police Department, people will submit their application online on the public service portal or on the National Identification Application (VNeID); submit a factory quality inspection certificate (with a copy of the engine number and frame number with the manufacturer's seal) when receiving the results via the public postal service.
