Resolution of the National Assembly, the National Assembly Standing Committee on personnel work

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man signed and issued resolutions of the National Assembly; National Assembly Vice Chairman Nguyen Thi Thanh signed and issued resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee on personnel work.

In Resolution No. 143/2024/QH15, the National Assembly resolved to add 1 Deputy Prime Minister so that the Government of the 15th National Assembly term has 5 Deputy Prime Ministers.

In Resolution No. 144/2024/QH15, the National Assembly resolved to relieve Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh from the position of Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the 2021-2026 term.

Pursuant to Resolution No. 145/2024/QH15, the National Assembly resolved to relieve Mr. Le Minh Tri from the position of Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the 2021-2026 term.

In Resolution No. 146/2024/QH15, the National Assembly resolved to approve the Prime Minister's proposal to dismiss Mr. Tran Luu Quang from the position of Deputy Prime Minister for the 2021-2026 term.

In Resolution No. 147/2024/QH15, the National Assembly resolved to approve the Prime Minister's proposal to dismiss Mr. Le Minh Khai from the position of Deputy Prime Minister for the 2021-2026 term.

Pursuant to Resolution No. 148/2024/QH15, the National Assembly resolved to approve the Prime Minister's proposal to dismiss Mr. Le Thanh Long from the position of Minister of Justice for the 2021-2026 term.

In Resolution No. 149/2024/QH15, the National Assembly resolved to approve the Prime Minister's proposal to dismiss Mr. Dang Quoc Khanh from the position of Minister of Natural Resources and Environment for the 2021-2026 term.

In Resolution No. 150/2024/QH15, the National Assembly resolved to dismiss Mr. Le Thanh Van, a deputy of the 15th National Assembly for the 2021-2026 term, from the National Assembly Delegation of Ca Mau province, constituency No. 1 (including Ca Mau city and districts: Thoi Binh, U Minh) for violating the standards of a National Assembly deputy and no longer worthy of the people's trust.

In Resolution No. 151/2024/QH15, the National Assembly resolved that Mr. Le Minh Tri, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, holds the position of Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court for the 2021-2026 term.

In Resolution No. 152/2024/QH15, the National Assembly resolved that Mr. Nguyen Huy Tien, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy, hold the position of Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy for the 2021-2026 term.

In Resolution No. 153/2024/QH15, the National Assembly resolved to approve the Prime Minister's proposal to appoint Deputy Prime Ministers for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee; Mr. Ho Duc Phoc, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Personnel Committee, Minister of Finance; Mr. Bui Thanh Son, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Government Party Personnel Committee, Secretary of the Party Personnel Committee, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

In Resolution No. 154/2024/QH15, the National Assembly resolved to approve the Prime Minister's proposal to appoint Ministers for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Do Duc Duy, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the 15th term of Yen Bai province to hold the position of Minister of Natural Resources and Environment for the 2021-2026 term; Nguyen Hai Ninh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Minister of Justice for the 2021-2026 term.

The above resolutions all take effect from the date of approval by the National Assembly (August 26, 2024).

In Resolution 1151/NQ-UBTVQH15, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly resolved to approve Mr. Tran Viet Anh, full-time member of the Committee on Culture and Education, to hold the position of Standing Member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the 15th National Assembly.

Pursuant to Resolution 1152/NQ-UBTVQH15, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly resolved to re-appoint Mr. Pham Dinh Toan, Deputy Head of the Office of the National Assembly, to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Office of the National Assembly from August 25, 2024 until reaching the prescribed retirement age.

In Resolution No. 1154/NQ-UBTVQH15, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly resolved to approve the resignation of Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thuy from the position of Vice Chairwoman of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment of the 15th National Assembly to retire according to her personal wishes.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thuy continues to perform her duties as a deputy of the 15th National Assembly and a member of the 15th Committee on Science, Technology and Environment as prescribed. This Resolution takes effect from September 1, 2024.

In Resolution 1155/NQ-UBTVQH15, the National Assembly Standing Committee resolved to transfer and appoint Mr. Pham Trong Cuong, Assistant to former Politburo member, former Standing member of the Secretariat, former Head of the Central Organization Commission, to hold the position of Assistant to Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly.
