Nam Sach, the land of scholars and heroes, currently has more than 223 historical revolutionary relics and historical-cultural relics preserved and promoted.
Over the years, the district has always paid attention to investing, renovating, embellishing and improving the quality of management, exploitation and use so that each revolutionary historical relic and cultural historical relic is "a story" that not only has historical educational significance but also fosters the nation's fine traditions for the people, especially the young generation.
Of the total 223 relics in the district, 10 historical and cultural relics have been ranked at the national level; 19 historical and cultural relics have been ranked at the provincial level; 5 sites have been recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as provincial-level tourist attractions and a number of historical and revolutionary relics. Many works have great significance and revolutionary historical and cultural values such as: Traditional House, District Martyrs' Temple; Temple of Two-Country Champion Mac Dinh Chi in Nam Tan Commune, President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site in Nam Chinh Commune, Tram Gian Pagoda in An Binh Commune; Stele House - where the Hai Duong Provisional Provincial Party Committee was established, Stele House - where the Nam Sach Government Committee was established, Dau Communal House in Hop Tien Commune; Chu Dau Archaeological Site in Thai Tan Commune, etc.
Nam Sach district always pays attention to improving the quality of management, exploitation and use of historical and cultural relics and has achieved many important results.
In May 2023, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee issued Plan No. 114/KH-BTV on improving the quality of management, exploitation and use of a number of revolutionary historical works in the district. Nam Sach is the leading district in the province in implementing the collection, compilation, uniformity and methodical implementation of documents on relics, and at the same time digitizing documents through QR code creation.
According to comrade Le Quang Thu, Standing Deputy Secretary of Nam Sach District Party Committee, stemming from the desire to have an official document, to systematize in a complete and accurate manner information about historical revolutionary relics, historical and cultural relics in the district, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has deployed the collection, compilation, and digitization of documents through the creation of QR codes.
The Standing Committee of Nam Sach District Party Committee has established an Editorial Board, established a Working Group and assigned specific tasks to each member. The leaders of the Editorial Board regularly urge, direct and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles in the process of organizing and implementing the collection and compilation...
Besides the advantages, in the process of collecting and compiling, there are also certain difficulties because writing and compiling require scientific and high accuracy, while the source of documents has not been stored in a unified and synchronized manner.
With the active participation of members of the Editorial Board, the Working Group, and the close coordination of the Monuments Management Board and localities, Nam Sach has completed the collection of documents, compilation, and QR coding for 34 works in 16 communes and towns, including 7 revolutionary historical relics, 10 national historical and cultural relics, and 17 provincial historical and cultural relics.
The collection and compilation are guaranteed to be complete, accurate, honest, objective and scientific. Mr. Mac Van Khac, Head of the Long Dong Temple Management Board in Nam Tan Commune, was excited to know that among the documents of historical and cultural relics with QR codes launched this time, there is the Long Dong Temple National Relic Complex. "This is a meaningful and necessary work, helping people and visitors from all over to better understand and spread the revolutionary and cultural historical values of the works, including Long Dong Temple," said Mr. Khac.
Ms. Mac Thi Hue, a history teacher at Nguyen Trai Secondary School, is also looking forward to this event. She said: “Collecting and compiling documents about relics is a new way to introduce history and is in line with the current digitalization trend. This provides teachers with valuable materials in the teaching process, creating excitement for students when learning about the revolutionary history of their homeland.”
On the afternoon of February 1, Nam Sach District Party Committee organized a launch of documents on historical revolutionary relics, historical and cultural relics in the district.
The launch of this product further multiplies the meaning and affirms the great value of historical revolutionary relics and historical cultural relics in the district, more clearly demonstrating their role as resources in socio-economic development, contributing to building and promoting the image of the land and people of Nam Sach, a scholar and hero.
7 historical revolutionary works have been digitized, including: Uncle Ho's memorial area (Nam Chinh commune), the district's martyrs' temple and revolutionary historical relics in Hop Tien commune (stele house where Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee was established, stele house where Nam Sach Palace Party Committee was established, Dau communal house, Ben temple, Xim temple).
The 27 historical and cultural relics whose documents were compiled are mainly communal houses, temples, and pagodas, including Tram Gian Pagoda (An Binh Commune), Long Dong Temple (Nam Tan Commune), Tran Dien Tri family temple (Quoc Tuan Commune), Ly Cong Quang's tomb (An Lam Commune)...
