Strong cold air is about to return to the North

In about a week, the North is likely to welcome a new strong cold air wave, the weather will turn cold.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from now until March 4, the Northern and North Central regions will have rain in some places, with scattered fog and light fog in the early morning, sunny in the afternoon, cold at night and early morning, and hot in some places in the Northwest region.

The North continues to heat up, the highest temperature during this time is up to 29 - 30 degrees Celsius in localities such as Dien Bien, Bac Giang, Ha Nam, Thai Binh... In Hanoi, the temperature increased sharply from February 27, to March 2 the highest temperature is up to 28 degrees Celsius.

From March 5 to 7, there is a possibility of scattered rain; later the rain will decrease. Early morning and night will be cold. The North is likely to turn cold from March 6, the North Central region will turn cold from the night of March 6.

In Cao Bang and Lang Son provinces, the first places to receive cold air, the lowest temperature is 7 - 8 degrees Celsius, the coldest time is March 8. In Hanoi, the lowest temperature is 15 - 16 degrees Celsius, the coldest time is March 8 with temperatures ranging from 15 - 18 degrees Celsius.

From around March 6, the area from Quang Binh to Khanh Hoa is likely to have scattered showers and rain. From around March 7, the weather from Quang Binh to Hue will turn cold.

Other areas have showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night, sunny days, some places have heat.
