Porsche has revealed the interior design of the third generation of its luxury Panamera. It is known that the model will be officially launched on November 24.
Porsche has equipped the 2024 Panamera with a 12.6-inch curved digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch central touchscreen, as well as a 10.9-inch touchscreen on the front passenger side.
In particular, the German luxury car company also cleverly placed a special film on the passenger screen to ensure that their relaxation and entertainment does not distract the driver.
Like the Cayenne SUV, the Panamera's conventional gear lever on the center console has been ditched and replaced with a toggle switch located behind the steering wheel, allowing space for a larger storage compartment.
Not only possessing modern features in the front row, the rear row of Panamera also has storage compartments, touch screens to control certain functions in the car; these equipments are installed between the two rows of seats.
The new version's steering wheel integrates a driving mode selector button as well as a clock on the top of the dashboard and an optional head-up display.
Other fancy features include continuous ambient lighting along the entire center console, improved seat upholstery foam, and more color and material options.
Notably, this is the first time Porsche has offered non-leather upholstery options in the form of Race-Tex and Pepita fabrics.
Regarding the exterior, through some images of prototypes in the testing process, the upcoming Panamera does not seem to be too different from the previous version in terms of overall shape.
In terms of powertrains, the automaker revealed back in September that the model will be offered in four E-Hybrid variants, all featuring more powerful electric motors integrated into a new dual-clutch transmission.
In addition, Porsche also said that the battery capacity will increase to 25.9 kWh (from 17.9 kWh in the old version) and add a 11 kWh integrated AC charger, semi-active chassis with new two-valve shock absorbers as standard.
Not stopping there, the 2024 Porsche Panamera promises to appear with a premium chassis with air suspension and active damper control. Of course, more details about the model will be revealed when the Panamera is launched in the coming weeks.
