Referring to some electronics supermarkets in Hai Duong city such as FPT Shop, Dien May Xanh, HC… the number of laptops and tablets sold on the market has increased sharply in recent days. Some product lines cannot meet the purchasing power of the people.

Specifically, the number of laptops priced from 8-15 million/unit at the above supermarkets meets about 40-60% of market demand and is always out of stock.

Similarly, tablets under 10 million VND/unit only meet 40-50% of market demand.

The reason for the shortage of laptops and tablets is explained by supermarket representatives as students having to study online, causing demand to increase.

Along with that, due to the impact of the epidemic, some major computer companies lack components, and recently only focused on producing high-configuration product lines, priced at over 15 million VND each. Although this product line sells well, its purchasing power is lower than that of mid-range products.

It is known that each electronics supermarket sells an average of 20-30 tablets per day, mainly from the Samsung brand; 50-70 laptops, some of the most popular brands chosen by people are Dell, HP, Asus, Lenovo...
