From August 18 to September 5, the Military Commands of districts, towns and cities in Hai Duong coordinated to give 369 gifts, 21 bicycles, and 2 desks to poor students who have overcome difficulties, and students who are children of soldiers in the unit, with a total value of more than 200 million VND.
On the occasion of the new school year, the Kim Thanh District Military Command sponsored two disadvantaged students studying at Kim Dinh Primary School and Kim Xuyen Secondary School (Kim Thanh). Each student received support of 500,000 VND/month.
The funds for the above activities are drawn from the units' contributions and savings fund "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle" and socialized sources.
This is also an activity within the program "Warm comradeship, joining hands to nurture green shoots" launched by the Military Command of Hai Duong province to help and encourage students in difficult circumstances to excel in their studies and life. This program has been implemented since 2018 and has been maintained until now.
