Senior Lieutenant Luong Thi Yen (female Information Officers) was happy because today her husband and children came to Hanoi station to see her off.

"I feel both happy and emotional because since Tet, I have only met my daughter in person. Both her father and mother are in the military, so even though she is young, she is very independent," Yen shared.

Before leaving, Ms. Yen could not help but feel reluctant, tightly holding her child's hands, and kindly telling her husband and child to stay home.

Major Nguyen Thi Mi (Vietnam's female peacekeepers) emotionally shared that when she saw her teammates saying goodbye to their families, she was about to cry because she had been away from home for several months.

"My unit is stationed in Hai Duong and has been mobilized to Hanoi to practice for the parade for the past 5 months. During Tet, I was given leave to visit my family and 2 weeks ago, my husband and children came to visit. For the next month, I will be far away from my family and miss my children, so I was very emotional when I got on the ship," said Ms. Mi.

Although they have to be away from their families and when they go to the South they will have to train with high intensity, under hot weather, but soldiers like Senior Lieutenant Luong Thi Yen or Major Nguyen Thi Mi always keep in mind"determined to overcome the sun and rain, practice enthusiastically"to successfully complete the task, contributing to the overall success of the April 30th celebration.

In the meeting on April 2, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Head of the Parade and Marching Subcommittee of the Ministry of National Defense, requested agencies and units to proactively develop specific, strict and scientific plans according to assigned tasks. Agencies and units need to carefully calculate the marching of troops and check the technical condition of vehicles.

During the move, agencies and units must strictly manage personnel numbers, ensure food and hygiene and food safety; coordinate and unify the reception organization at stations as well as road transfer locations thoughtfully, solemnly, safely and on time.
